Our Symphony Narrowboat Paint Raddle is a traditional ultra-high quality enamel for your roof and deck areas, achieving a 50% satin sheen level. It is ideal for where a gloss finish is not required, best suited for brush, roller and spray application. The high level of pigmentation offers deep colour with superb long-lasting colour retention.
Raddle is dosed with a matting agent for use on roof tops and vehicle cab interiors. When steering, high gloss is an issue due to glare from the sun. Therefore Raddle finishes are common.

PREPARATION
Use Symphony Narrowboat Paint Topcoat over a wide variety of surfaces that have been suitably sanded, primed and undercoated. We recommend Symphony Narrowboat Paint Metal Primer and Symphony Narrowboat Paint Undercoat. Remove loose or blistered paint and flat down existing surfaces with 320 Grit sanding. Remove sanding dust by wiping with a tack cloth. All surfaces must be sound, clean, dry and free from dust, grease or any other surface contaminants before application. Tape off edges using low tack masking tape.
APPLICATION
Stir well prior to use. Apply the first coat to a DFT of 30 microns (+/- 5 microns). Apply evenly in 3ft sections by HD Foam Roller and if necessary laid off by Synthetic Brush. Leave to dry for a minimum of 16 hours before application of the second coat. Lightly abrade this coat to provide a smooth finish. Repeat for three coats and a minimum DFT of 30 microns (+/- 5 microns) per coat. Minimum Total DFT after two coats of Metal Primer, three coats of Undercoat and three coats of Topcoat should be 200 microns. If required, add up to 10% Thinner 2611 or 2612 or 5% PPA brush additive to ease application. Avoid cold, damp or high humidity conditions.
